What is a 1 month additional time-lock period?

In order to participate in the Fusion staking system, 5000 FSN are used to purchase a ticket in the lottery. The 5000 FSN is a time-lock for 30 days which is the lifespan of a ticket. If the purchased ticket is selected in the lottery and the node mines a block, the FSN is returned to the wallet. If the ticket is not selected within 30 days, the FSN will automatically be returned.

For staking pool purposes, to ensure that your contributed FSN is earning rewards, the time-lock to the Node Networks pool must exceed 30 days in duration. For example, a 31 day time-lock would qualify the staker for 1 day of staking rewards (the first day of the 31 day duration).
